LG has announced the expansion of the range of gaming monitors – at the E3 2019 exhibition, the South Korean manufacturer has brought the latest UltraGear models and announced the date of their sale. Gamers were offered to evaluate not only the trend ultra-wide display format, but also the advanced technical characteristics of the new products, including the highest response rate in its class.
Chip monitors was a record for IPS-matrix response speed – just 1 ms. The updated series of LG UltraGear lineup includes two models with curved screens. The 27-inch LG 27GL850 monitor with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a brightness of 350 nits received support for the HDR10 standard. It is equipped with two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort.
LG 38GL950G with a display diagonal of 38 inches and a resolution of 3840×1600 pixels differs from the lower version with increased brightness (450 nits) and the possibility of overclocking the refresh rate from the base 144 Hz to 175 Hz. The novelty received support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology and compatibility with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard . Connectivity to the signal source is represented by HDMI and DisplayPort ports on the rear panel. Both monitors support the proprietary technologies Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabilizer and Crosshair, the manufacturer also equipped the 38-inch model with RGB-illuminated Sphere Lighting 2.0 on the back cover.
LG 27GL850 will be available for pre-order from July 1, the start of the start of sales is scheduled for the third quarter of 2019. The release date of the LG 38GL950G and the price of both models will be announced later.
