The development of domestic equipment involved concern "Constellation", which is part of "Ruselectronics". According to the general director Alexey Bocharov, the concern is actively preparing for the production of its own solutions.
“We have competitive 4G LTE solutions, and in parallel we are developing 5G equipment. Everything that will be produced by our group will comply with international standards 3GPP. The equipment we design is fully compatible with competing solutions. Moreover, we plan to provide further technical support for our products, ”concluded the general director of the“ Constellation ”concern.
Soon, the company plans to present integrated solutions that use artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as equipment to block GSM signals and complexes to combat drones.
Earlier, Rostec and Rostelecom signed a tripartite agreement with the government on the development of fifth-generation networks. A detailed plan to 2024, participants should prepare in the near future. The task of Rostec will be to promote domestic technologies and equipment in the global market. Rostelecom will also deploy infrastructure for 5G networks and stimulate demand for services using new technology.
