Sigma has introduced the world's smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless digital camera with L-mount Sigma fp. Given the size of 113 x 70 x 45 mm and 370 grams of weight, it can even be carried in a pocket. Despite its modest dimensions, it is equipped with a large touch screen and all the necessary connectors for connecting accessories and other devices.
The Sigma fp uses a 24.6-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor with a traditional Bayer color filter, there is a contrast autofocus system and autofocus over the eyes. The range of sensitivity is ISO 100-25600 and expands to ISO 6-102400. There is also support for HDR and save images in 14-bit DNG format. Burst speed – 18 fps with a maximum burst of 12 frames.
The novelty shoots video in 4K UHD format with a frequency of 24 frames per second and the ability to save in 12-bit DNG format. There is also a director mode that allows you to view clips with different aspect ratios. And in the camera body there is a radiator that protects against overheating during long video recording.
The camera is equipped with a 3.2-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2.1 million pixels. From the connectors are provided HDMI and USB 3.1. It is possible to install a flash, external microphone and remote control for remote shutter release.
Sigma fp will go on sale this fall. The price of the camera has not yet been announced.
