Ubisoft has published a financial report for 2018, and if the company's plans to earn at least $ 2.4 billion for the next financial period, ordinary gamers are probably not very interesting, then information about games coming out in the near future should be their first concern. Moreover, the company plans to release as many as four products by the end of March 2020.
In this case, of the four games announced at the moment announced only one – Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The other three remain unknown, and among them there will definitely not be a pirate action game Skull & Bones: the game was once again postponed. The company did not announce a new release date, but it will happen later than the next financial year – in other words, before the beginning of April 2020. In addition, Skull & Bones will not appear on E3 2019. The game, which is a kind of mixture of ideas from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, For Honor and The Crew, demanded more time for a competent implementation than the developers could assume.
Briefly about all the other successes of Ubisoft:
- Far Cry 5 is the company's best-selling game in this generation;
- Assassin's Creed Odyssey performed better on the market than Origins;
- player base Rainbow Six Siege increased by 40%;
- Tom Clancy's The Division 2 does not meet the expectations of the company, although it sells better than the first part.
